We are a diverse group who share one major thing in common – a support for authentic green. While we as a company directly work with other companies and institutions, we also recognize and value the role that supportive environmentalists play in this equation as they are our eyes and ears on the street, and going forward, will play a more major role in making this program work. Essentially therefore, those on the program represent individuals, businesses and institutions that are actively helping to create change and consciously choosing to be a part of a growing network that together is pushing the status quoa rather than just rolling with it. Well… a number of things. For starters, we upped the ante. Specifically, since we are here to help people to identify those who are not only walking the talk, but also, those who are a part of an important network striving to green shift our world, we have always been very careful to protect the integrity that our name upholds. That being said, we felt it was important to identify, welcome, and thank everyone who has been making efforts, however big or small. As such, we used the term greenshifting to represent all levels of participation, and waited until we hit a critical mass that was more solidly on board before qualifying them as being on the program. For a list of all of the great companies who we witnessed to be proactive leaders, we have archived the list of greenshifting companies and institutions, and accredit them as the group that helped to get biodegradables onto the Canadian market.
